Connecting deeply with locals through festivals
In Japan, festivals have been held since ancient times to give thanks to nature and the gods, and to deepen the bonds within the local community. Here in Ishikawa Prefecture, there are many festivals filled with the sense of the changing seasons. Traditional festivals, such as the "Kiriko Festival" in Noto, and the "Hyakumangoku Festival" in Kanazawa, are still being enthusiastically held. Some festivals are even open to tourists. In addition to festivals, there are various events that are rooted in local cuisine and culture. How about participating in one of these festivals or events?
